Stainless Steel Construction
Constructed fully of 304 or 316L stainless steel in 16 and 14 gauge to provide a quality sturdy constructed system. Utilizing LFI’s unique panelized construction method all welds are interior and ground smooth. The result is a smooth exterior easily cleanable and adaptable to almost any environment.
Can Be Placed on Existing Benches
This horizontal laminar flow unit is designed to be placed on existing work benches, or as an option, can be supplied with a tubular steel support assembly.
0.3 Micron Cleanliness
Exceeds requirements of Class 100 (Federal Standard 209b), and IES – RP-CC-002-86. Standard Clean Work Station (USAF – T.O.-00-25-203). Particle count does not exceed 100 particles 0.3 micron or larger, per cubic foot.
Adjustable Air Velocity
Average velocity throughout the work space is not less than 100 FPM (point velocities within + 20 FPM of average) as determined by an Alnor thermo-anemometer. A solid state speed control is standard, easy access is provided to blower compartment.
99.99% + Final Filter Efficiency
HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters are individually tested to be 99.99% + efficient by DOP test (maximum penetration of dioctylphthalate smoke is 0.01%).
Positive HEPA Filter Seal
Patented spring loaded all steel locking device assembly is easily removed by loosening a hex nut at the top…no need to reach down into plenum to remove cumbersome fasteners, clamps, or screws. This assures a positive filter seal, which eliminates the possibility of damaging the new replacement filter.
Easy HEPA Filter Maintenance.
Filters can be easily replaced from rear of unit…no cumbersome plenums or work areas to remove. Specific torque readings are provided to take the "guess work" out of filter replacement.
Large Intake Pre-Filters
Fiberglas throw-away (standard) or polyurethane (optional) easily removable. No special tools required, no fasteners to remove. Large intake allows low velocity, minimizing drafts, noise; increasing filter life.
Shadowless, Full-Panel Lighting
Cool white fluorescent lamps behind translucent lens are built in as an integral part of the unit…can be replaced from work area side.
Electrical System
120 volt, 60 Hz, single phase amperage depends on work station size

• 6 foot power cord
• All wiring is grounded in accordance with National Electrical Code
For overseas application, 220v is available at 50Hz single phase.
